Community Involvement

Mooresville and the Lake Norman area are more than our service area — they are home. Keeping them clean is the job; here is how we put containers and trucks to work for the neighborhood.

Supporting local cleanups

We are proud to be part of the Mooresville community and the greater Lake Norman and Iredell County area, and beyond delivering roll-off containers we care about keeping our neighborhoods clean, safe and thriving. We support local cleanup efforts and promote responsible waste disposal and recycling across Mooresville, Statesville, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Troutman and the surrounding towns. When a neighborhood association, an HOA, a church, a school or a volunteer crew runs a cleanup day, the hard part is always the pile at the end. A roll-off is often exactly what they need: a 30 yard handles the bulk debris from a neighborhood or HOA cleanup, and a 40 the staging and temporary flooring from a large event.

One honest tip: some of the work is already covered. Inside Mooresville, the Town's weekly bulky pickup takes furniture, appliances and mattresses without a call, and residents can request the Town's free Dial-A-Dumpster for household or yard waste — for up to seven days, not from November 1 to January 1, and with no construction or contractor debris. Iredell County residents can take paint and household chemicals to Household Hazardous Waste Day at Twin Oaks on set Saturdays. Check those first. If your project is bigger than that, call us.

Working with local groups

HOAs, neighborhood associations, churches, schools and local organizations — if your group is planning a cleanup or an improvement project and needs a container, call (980) 447-2697 or email info@mooresvilledumpsterco.com and tell us what you are doing. We serve Mooresville and the surrounding communities, including Mount Mourne, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Statesville, Troutman, Stony Point, Harmony, Union Grove, Sherrills Ford, Terrell, Denver, Catawba, Kannapolis, Concord and Cleveland. Where a county franchise or permit applies, we check the county's rules first and tell you what applies.

We believe in hiring and supporting hardworking local team members. A local company should mean local jobs.

Responsible disposal

Keeping the area clean also means sending what we haul to the right place. We work with local disposal and recycling facilities to reduce unnecessary landfill waste whenever possible — metal, concrete, asphalt, cardboard and yard debris go to recycling where local processing allows, and everything else to a facility permitted for that kind of waste. North Carolina keeps used oil, antifreeze, large appliances, whole tires, lead-acid batteries, computers and televisions out of its landfills, so they stay out of the box — and household chemicals go to the county's Household Hazardous Waste Day or another proper outlet, never the container.
