Seventeen towns and communities and one yard on South Broad Street. Here is every place we cover, grouped by area, each with its own page on access, local character and what the town or county code says — including the places where a county franchise or permit applies.

We run roll-off containers out of 735 S Broad St — inside Mooresville town limits, in Iredell County — to every town below. Distance is the first thing that changes. Approximate road miles from the yard: central Mooresville about 1, Mount Mourne about 3, Davidson about 6, Cornelius about 8, Terrell about 10, Troutman about 12, Huntersville and Sherrills Ford about 13, Denver and Kannapolis about 16, Cleveland about 17, Statesville about 18, Catawba about 23, Concord about 24, Stony Point about 29, Harmony about 31 and Union Grove about 35. Same-day or next-day is available in many areas depending on availability, and route timing decides the rest.
The second thing that changes is the law. In Mooresville the Town does not provide dumpsters to residential or commercial users (Town Code Sec. 12-56), building materials are never collected by town forces (Sec. 12-65(1)), and the code bars obstructions in streets and sidewalks without Town approval (Secs. 20-71, 20-9); we found no Town hauler franchise and no Town dumpster permit. Statesville has commercial bulk containers serviced by contract with a private hauler (Sec. 19-23), Davidson leaves construction debris to the owner and contractor (Sec. 62-34), Cornelius to the contractor or builder (Sec. 51.21), Troutman does not service bulk containers (Sec. 53.05(C)), Kannapolis puts construction and demolition waste on the contractor or builder (Sec. 7-26) and needs a Public Works permit to obstruct a street during building operations (Sec. 15-3), and Concord says roll-off service is provided by private contractors (Sec. 46-35(b)). Outside the towns, Catawba County has an exclusive county solid waste franchise (Sec. 32-3) covering Sherrills Ford and Terrell, and Lincoln County requires an annual collector permit and franchise (Secs. 52.33, 52.34) covering Denver — there we check the county's rules before booking a container. On NCDOT roads, G.S. 136-93 requires a written permit for any obstruction. We are licensed & insured. Each town page quotes the section and gives the office to call. We would rather say it here than find out on delivery day.
The service area
The run splits three ways: Mooresville and the Lake Norman towns, from Mount Mourne, Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville to Sherrills Ford, Terrell, Denver and Catawba; Statesville and north Iredell; and Kannapolis, Concord and Cleveland to the east.
Mooresville itself, where the yard is, plus Mount Mourne, Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville to the south and Sherrills Ford, Terrell, Denver and Catawba to the west — roughly 1 to 23 road miles out (approx.). Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville leave construction debris to owners and contractors; Sherrills Ford and Terrell sit in Catawba County's exclusive franchise area and Denver under Lincoln County's permit and franchise rules, so those pages say we check the county's rules before booking. Same-day or next-day, depending on availability; call before noon for the best chance of same-day.
Statesville, Troutman, Stony Point, Harmony and Union Grove — roughly 12 to 35 road miles north of the yard (approx.). Statesville and Troutman leave dumpsters and building debris to private haulers and owners, and Iredell County's Twin Oaks landfill in Statesville takes demolition loads from in-county jobs. Stony Point is mostly in Alexander County. Same-day or next-day, depending on availability; call early for the longer runs.
Kannapolis and Concord in Cabarrus County (Kannapolis reaches into Rowan) and Cleveland in Rowan County — roughly 16 to 24 road miles east of the yard (approx.). Concord says roll-off service comes from private contractors, Kannapolis needs a Public Works permit to block a street during building work, and Cabarrus County's C&D landfill is currently not taking roll-off trucks, so those loads go to another permitted facility. Same-day or next-day, depending on availability.

Many of them, depending on where the trucks are and when you call — before noon gives you the best chance. The closest runs from the yard are central Mooresville, about 1 road mile, Mount Mourne, about 3, and Davidson, about 6; the furthest are Harmony, about 31, and Union Grove, about 35.
Yes, call — the neighborhoods of Mooresville and the communities between our towns are inside our run; they just do not have their own pages. Tell us the address and we will tell you which town's or county's rules apply.
Because two counties regulate who may haul outside the towns. Unincorporated Catawba County, which covers Sherrills Ford and Terrell, has an exclusive county solid waste franchise whose agreement covers roll-offs (County Code Sec. 32-3), and Lincoln County, which covers Denver, requires an annual collector permit and a franchise (Secs. 52.33, 52.34). We state what each code says, and there we check the county's rules before booking a container.
The flat rate depends partly on the delivery location, so the furthest towns can cost a little more — we say so up front.
To a facility permitted for that kind of waste. In Iredell County, roll-off demolition debris goes to the county's Twin Oaks facility in Statesville, which takes Iredell County waste only (County Code Sec. 12-10(b)); the Lincoln County landfill takes Lincoln County waste only; and Cabarrus County's C&D landfill is currently not accepting roll-off trucks, so loads from Concord and Kannapolis go to another permitted facility.
