Mooresville Dumpster Co runs out of a yard at 735 S Broad St, inside Mooresville town limits in Iredell County. The idea is simple: dumpster rental with honest pricing and somebody who answers the phone. So we keep it plain. One flat number that covers the job. A delivery we keep. A local person on the line, not a national call center.
Mooresville is a big place to know — 50,193 people in the town at the 2020 Census and 186,693 in Iredell County. Homeowners call about cleanouts, remodels and storm-damaged roofs; property managers turn over units; contractors build from downtown Mooresville to the lake and out along Highway 150. Knowing which of those a call is before the truck leaves the yard is most of the job — along with knowing that the Town does not provide dumpsters to residential or commercial users, that town crews never collect building materials, that the Town Code bars obstructions in streets and sidewalks without Town approval, and that North Carolina will not let car batteries, tires, used oil or appliances into its landfills.
Whatever you are clearing — a garage or a whole house, a job site, a yard full of storm limbs or a rental you want emptied by a crew — the container exists for it. Call (980) 447-2697 and describe it in a sentence.

How it works
Most bookings take a few minutes.
One short conversation. We ask the location, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
You get one number that can cover delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and an included weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, with protective boards under it if you want them. Often same-day or next-day, depending on availability. You do not need to be home.
Keep it level with the top rim and keep the banned items out — paint and solvents, chemicals, oil and fuel, batteries, tires, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos, large appliances, and computers or TVs. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
The load is covered and goes to a facility permitted for that kind of waste, with metal, concrete, asphalt, cardboard and yard waste recycled through local facilities whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.
On the job
We walk you through placement before the truck backs in, and check in again at pickup.

Local knowledge
There is a difference between covering an area and knowing it. We know which drives the truck fits down, that the Town of Mooresville code bars obstructions in streets and sidewalks without Town approval and that we found no Town dumpster permit — so the box goes on the driveway — that NCDOT roads like NC-115 and NC-150 need a written permit for anything placed on them, that Iredell County's sites take Iredell waste only, and that unincorporated Catawba County and Lincoln County run franchise and permit systems, so in Sherrills Ford, Terrell and Denver we check the county's rules before booking.
Our service area page lists every town we cover, grouped by area, and each has its own page covering access, local character and what that town's or county's own code says about containers in the street and who may haul.

Why us
The phone is answered by someone who knows the Mooresville neighborhoods, driveway layouts, delivery routes and job-site logistics — a tight drive near downtown, a big lot by the lake, a job site off Highway 150.
Delivery, the rental, pickup, disposal and an included weight allowance in a single number. No hidden fees, no hidden fuel surcharges. If your load looks like it will go over, we say so before the truck leaves the yard.
Call before noon and many orders have a good chance of going out the same day, depending on availability. If it has to be tomorrow, we tell you before you book.
Protective boards under the container when you want them, and the driver tells you before delivery if a tight drive, low wires or soft ground needs a different approach.
Weight fills a container long before volume does. If a 10 yard is the honest answer for your broken-up concrete, that is what we will quote you.
North Carolina storms drop branches, fences and shingles in an afternoon. We tell you honestly when the container can be there.

North Carolina keeps used oil, large appliances, whole tires, lead-acid batteries, computers and TVs out of its landfills, and wants a state notice before any demolition. We keep banned items out of the box, recycle what the facilities take, and say so.

We run roll-off containers out of our yard on South Broad Street to every town below. Many orders go out same-day depending on availability; distance and route timing decide the rest. In a few places a county franchise or permit applies, and there we check the county's rules before booking — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.

Rentals generally range from about $350 to $750 depending on the project, with no hidden fees. The price depends on the size, the type and weight of the debris, how long you keep it and the delivery location. You get one flat rate up front that can include delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and the included weight — about 1 to 2 tons on a 10 yard, up to 5 to 6 on a 40. Going over the weight can cost extra, and extra days are an additional daily or weekly fee. Call (980) 447-2697 for a firm number for your address.
In many areas the same day or next day, depending on availability — call before noon for the best chance of same-day. We tell you which when you call.
On your own driveway or private property we found no Town of Mooresville permit rule for a roll-off. A Town street or sidewalk is different: Town Code Sec. 20-71 says no obstruction of any kind may be placed in the town's streets, sidewalks or alleyways, apart from building material placed with permission, Sec. 20-9 allows no encroachment on Town property or easements except as the town manager or a designee approves, and Sec. 23-107 makes storing personal property on a public street a nuisance — a Class 3 misdemeanor with a fine of up to $500. We found no Town dumpster permit, so the driveway comes first. On NCDOT roads such as NC-115, NC-150, NC-152 and NC-801, G.S. 136-93 requires a written NCDOT permit for any obstruction, and we found no permit path for a temporary roll-off. Check your HOA too. We flag it when you book.
North Carolina bans used oil, antifreeze, oil filters, white goods (large appliances), whole tires, lead-acid batteries, aluminum cans, and discarded computers and televisions from its landfills (G.S. 130A-309.10(f)), with lithium-ion batteries added from December 1, 2026. We also keep out paints and solvents, hazardous chemicals, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, flammable materials and asbestos. Iredell County residents can take paint and household chemicals to Household Hazardous Waste Day at the Twin Oaks facility on set Saturdays.
We take precautions to help minimize the risk of damage during delivery and pickup, and protective boards can go under the container on request. Many customers also put plywood or wooden boards beneath the wheels, especially on decorative or newer driveways. Tell us before delivery if a surface worries you.
Volume and weight are two separate limits, and the material decides which runs out first. Small cleanups and heavy debris — roofing, concrete, dirt — are a 10 or 15; remodeling projects, landscaping and medium cleanouts a 20; demolition, commercial jobs and major cleanouts a 30 or 40. The size guide covers it; the phone call confirms it.
Yes — Mount Mourne, Statesville, Troutman, Stony Point, Harmony and Union Grove in and around Iredell County; Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville in north Mecklenburg; Sherrills Ford, Terrell and Catawba in Catawba County; Denver in Lincoln County; and Kannapolis, Concord and Cleveland to the east. Each town has its own page with its own rules, and where a county franchise or permit applies we check the county's rules before booking.
Early. Same-day depends on availability and a call before noon gives you the best chance. For a planned remodel or cleanout, a few days' notice gets you the size you want on the day you want it — and if a demolition is involved, the state's demolition notice has to be filed ten working days ahead.
